CAFE REVIEW 1: NOMADE café
You know when you have that awkward amount of time in your hands in between jobs? An hour and a half break to be exact. On a random Friday afternoon I was caught wandering the streets of Lavapiés looking for a place to hangout and when I came across this charming cafè sitting in a corner of one of Madrid’s iconic neighbourhoods, I ordered my favoured café con leche (as one would at 4:00pm in Spain), and started diving into writing in my journal, a habit I’ve adopted for over a year now, I was served by the sweetest and most accommodating waiter I’ve ever met, his smile was infectious and I remember not helping but feel all those good feelings through the rest of the day, a small gesture but was a genesis towards my fondness of this place, their coffee was crisp and tasty infusing me with smooth caffeine-driven creativity and expression which was exactly what I needed and definitely helped with my entry that day.
